Welcome to Good Shepherd Matric. Hr. Sec. School, celebrating 36 years of glorious service in the field of education, is a co-educational school run by the Silom Educational Trust, founded by Thiru C.Devaraj and Tmt.NaliniDevaraj in the year 1986. Started with a humble count of 100 students in classes up to the 12th standard in the year 1986, the school today boasts more than 750 students and nearly 35 dedicated teaching staff under the guidance of the Correspondent, Principal, Vice-Principal, and Heads of the Department of Tamil, English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Computer Science, and Commerce Departments. Over the years, the school has established itself in this vicinity as a reliable place of education through its strict adherence to values and codes.

Our Campus

The campus’s infrastructure is aesthetically well designed, consisting of two blocks with three floors each, with all safety norms accomplished, compromising with all necessary amenities premeditatedly towards adaptability for the upcoming changes in modern techniques in the educational system and to incorporate the best educational practises and technology to prepare students for their future endeavours. Our school was given a new facelift in 2022, enclosing two play grounds labs, administrative rooms, and an open auditorium. The establishment encompasses all necessary infrastructures for a school, like sufficient space with natural shady trees and flowering plants, an enclosed kids' play area, and splendid, airy classrooms with a balanced curriculum and ample space for co-curricular activities, along with highly proficient faculty, which make the schooling experience a unique one, standing true to our vision of providing exceptional educational background for the best future experience and creating an empowered generation for the nation.

Our Pride

Our Pride The school has consistently produced 100 percent results for the past Eight Grade 10 batches and ten Grade 12 batches. Of special mention is the fact that the students of 12th Standard Secure Centum in Accountancy, Commerce, Computer Application in the Academic Year 2022 – 2023 B. Durga was the 2nd state rank holder in the academic year 2022–2023 in the Grade 12 Board Examinations.
